I believe the Bible is God's message to humanity. It is one message made up of sixty-six books. These books were physically documented over a period of history covering thousands of years. Throughout the Bible's long history, scribes of varying cultural backgrounds, were driven by God to accurately record God's words.
The message of the Bible was 'God-breathed'. The original Greek word is 'theópneustos'.
The Bible was first written in Hebrew (Old Testament) and Greek (New Testament). The many English versions we have today are translations of existing manuscripts.
The Bible reveals God's plan to save his people through Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah, and establish his kingdom.
